New InStyle November 2010 issue

Contains L'Occitane Hand Cream (Travel size 30ml). You can choose from 3 different types an I think its a bargain as it costs £7 in a shop so you have got magazine+cream for only £3.60. I bought Cherry Blossom as I love the scent :) but I know they got 2 other types Fleur Cherie and the original 20% Shea Butter as well which I just recently finished  (It was the one from Marie Claire I think). The best cream I have ever used, but its quite thick so if you don't like thick hand cream or just don't have very dry skin you will probably not like it. I love it because I feel that its not only moisturize your skin but its also help to protect my skin as well. I have used it for hand, elbows and any dry patches on my body.

Take the day off by Clinique

Sorry Clinique, it's a disaster :(. It's a make-up remover for lids, lashes and lips (all skin types). Maybe it would be suitable for a very dry skin but not for my combination to oily. I got this small sample as I was buying 2 other products. Good I didn't buy it. I can't even finish this one. It's a two-phase type product, you have to shake well before use to mix two ingredients together. I thought that because it's greasy it's supposed to take even the waterproof make-up off. No it doesn't take off even non waterproof one. It didn't take off properly Lash-Power mascara also by Clinique. It's just such a strange product, has got good reviews on other websites but totally didn't work for me. I had to wash my face or use a lotion to take off the grease from my eyes :(. I cannot say anything good about this product.

Foamburst by Imperial Leather

Everything would be just great about them only that they don't last long :(. I always buy them when there is an offer like buy 1 get 1 free because they just last around maybe 2 weeks (or do I just use a lot?). The smell is great, there is a shower & shave option as well although I never used it for shaving. If you want a great foaming product that's the best choice. I love it because it does smell great and it stays on your body, you feel fresh and clean after having a shower for longer. There are like 6 or maybe more scents and the price is no so bad. Anyway I had probably all of them so far but took a pic of 3 I recently bought when there was 3 for 2 offer :).

Rating: 4 (Good) only because they don't last long.

Vitamin C line by The Body Shop

I like this line so much. Smells nice, affordable and I liked the package (because Body Shop has changed it recently I have no idea why).
So I will start from Eye Reviver (now Vitamin C Eye Reviver Duo). Very light eye cream, lightly scented. Not aggressive for under eye and eyelids area. Good if you don't have many wrinkles, would say for the beginners.
I really like Face Polish from this line. Love the smell, it has got a little micro-beads to gently clean all the grease and smooth your face when washing (brilliant when you have got combination to oily skin like mine). One of my favourite face wash which always comes back to my bathroom.
And Vitamin C intensive Night Treatment (which unfortunately I cannot find on the website, hope they didn't discontinue this product because I will be very disappointed). So its one of the best night creams I have ever used. When you put it on you feel like it starts to work, it nips a little bit but my face didn't become red or anything. In the morning your face is smooth, nice, glow just visibly fresh. This is my 3rd tube of this product and I would definitely buy another one...if of course Body Shop didn't discontinue it.

Rating: 5 for all the products (Very Good)
Price: Eye Reviver £10, Face Polish £10 and Intensive Night Treatment was around £10 (its possible they discontinued it because I couldn't find the price :(  )

Sure Maximum Protection 48h Deodorant

You will say I'm disgusting but if you sweat like me then you will thank me for this review :). So I have tried a lot of anti-perspirants but so far this is the best product I have ever used. Firstly doesn't smell so much so its brilliant with all your favourite perfumes. Secondly its like a cream, dries up quickly, no white marks on my black tops (although I always try to be careful). It works actually for 48 hours but sometimes I use it every day if I know I will be under stress or just active. Since I bought it its one of my best deodorants. Would recommend it to anyone who got a problem with sweating.

Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner

My favourite sparkle eyeliners :). I have got 4 of them and every time I go to Boots I would like to buy another one :). On their own they are not so spectacular but if you mix them with eyeshadow or pure black or dark brown eyeliner they will give you an amazing eye make-up ever.
How do I use them? I put them on the top of the black line or dark brown (but you can use them on any colour you like, they look better with dark ones tho) because its also better for them to have a background to stick to. I put them on the top of my eyeshadow as well to get more natural effect. I also put a little tiny drop on the top of my lashes after using mascara and on the bottom lashes as well. They are easy to remove with any eye make-up remover. For such a nice cheap price you can easily update your make-up bag.

Lash Power Mascara by Clinique

Long-wearing formula and believe me it is. Firstly thin nice non-plastic brush which I really like because it doesn't leave any black marks on my eyelids. Very easy to put on, no clumps lashes are nicely separated. The only problem which for some of you will not be a problem is to take off this mascara. I didn't use waterproof make-up remover as I don't have one but you can give it a try. With my standard make-up removers it was pretty hard to take it off and I had to rub it really hard. It is not a problem for me as I don't have sensitive eyes but it may be a problem if you do. Anyway it is a long-wearing formula and Clinique didn't lie about it :). Great mascara I would recommend to anybody.

Raspberry & Shea Body Butter by Body Shop

Raspberry body butter dedicated for normal skin and Shea body butter for very dry skin. Have to say I used to be addicted to Raspberry and Strawberry one :). As I have got normal skin I use Raspberry for body and Shea for my hands as they become very dry. On a picture you have got small pocket (or a handbag) size ones which I love because they can go with you anywhere. They smell great, they moisturize your skin really good and they come in various smells like olive, strawberry, coconut and many more. Worth buying for your body, hands, foot, elbows, any dry skin places on your body. And remember Marie Claire magazine had them for free this year in one of their summers magazine and the last year as well (Shea one on the picture is from Marie Claire).

Rating: 5 (Very Good)
Price:  £12.50 for 200 ml and £5 for 50 ml

Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover by L'Oreal, Purete Thermale by Vichy & Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover by Body Shop

My favourite 3 eye make-up removers. All of them are pretty much similar. L'Oreal is the cheapest one I bought recently as I was before pay-day :) but I am very surprise with the result. I had 3 bottles of Body Shop one and I loved it then bought Vichy one for a change but it was more expensive with the same effect so I why pay more. They are all watery, lightly scented and are taking off all your make-up easily. I also use them for my face as a toner as sometimes you are back home and just want to take off the rest of foundation to feel fresh. They are like 2 in 1 products (make-up removers and toners) plus they didn't irritate my eyes as well. Haven't used them with waterproof products as I don't like waterproof cosmetics.
Rating: 5 (Very Good) all the products
Price: Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover by L'Oreal around £3,
Purete Thermale by Vichy around £10 (available in Boots)

Smoky Effect Eye Pencil by Bourjois

Excellent eye pencil with a bit of a sparkle. You can make a solid line or just use a brush and do some smoky eye. I have got number 74 Grey shadow which is a light grey with a hint of blue great for a daylight because its not too dark. You can make it darker or lighter by using a little brush and add some layers (I use my own brushes but have to say this one is not so bad). Pencil is a bit soft so obviously it will not stay long without using a primer but I think is still very good product for a really nice price.

I just bought another Smoky Effect Eye Pencil by Bourjois in 71 Smoked Brown.
I absolutely love this product. If you are going on holidays you can just pack two or three shades with you and it will work as a pencil and eyeshadow in your make-up bag. You can see on one of my pictures as I tried it with and without little brush. Excellent product and excellent price. Available in 6 different shades.Think I will buy them all :-).

Mac Paint Pot & Paints

You need to know something about me..I cannot live without eye primer. I have got oily to combination skin and my eyelids are also oily. Doesn't matter which eyeshadow I will use (cheap or expensive one) they will last for about 2 hours. Shame because I love eyeshadow and eyeliners (especially glitter ones). So I have to use something as a base. I use Mac Paint Pot and Paints (small tube on a picture). Since I bought it I am absolutely addicted. It makes your eyeshadow stay longer and it doesn't change the colour which means the colour will appear on your eyelids exactly the same as is in the palette. Brilliant. And at the end it comes in 8 different colours in Paint Pot and 6 different colours in Paints so sometimes I use it just as an eyeshadow too plus it last forever because you need to use just a drop.

Colours: Tube (Untitled) and Pot (Painterly)
Rating: 5 (Very Good)
Price: Tube £ 13 and Pot £ 13 as well (according to Mac website in UK)

Telescopic Mascara by L'Oreal

No,no and no. Disappointed, but I still like L'Oreal. I was looking for some mascara with a thin brush as they are my favourite ones. So I read in one of the magazines, don't actually remember which one that celebrities are using it and it has got a thin brush and its amazing. Well unfortunately not for me. Plastic brush which I hate (my fault I did not check in the shop) very long which may be good if you have got long almond shape eyes ( I don't have tho :) and it makes clumps. A mistake.

Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara by Estee Lauder

I was very confused with this mascara. Firstly I had a sample I got from Estee Lauder and the sample was really good so I rush to buy a big one one day and...Hmm a bit disappointed. I can assure you the original one wasn't so good as the sample and didn't last long. But apart from this its still a very good mascara. The brush is not too big, has a good shape which allows you to do corner lashes (thinner at the top) so its easy to use for the bottom lashes as well. The only minus I can say was it did not last so long as the sample.

Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lenghtening Mascara by Estee Lauder

Free sample I got when I was buying some Estee Lauder products (sample on a picture). So far one of the best mascaras I have ever used. Quite thin brush (which I love), good coverage and long stay even tho its not waterproof one. The only problem is that its quite hard to take off even with good eye-make up remover. So what I do is I wet my face under the shower. I wait until its quite soft and just take it off my lashes with my fingers (works similar as Double Extension by L'Oreal). I know, strange but it works.

Bad gal Lash Mascara by Benefit

Free sample from Glamour (picture). For girls who like big brushes, personally I don't but I know few friends and they love this mascara. Lashes are visually longer, thicker but for me that big brush just doesn't work. Have to be careful applying every coat and I always have black marks on my eyelids.

Ink For Eyes by Urban Decay

I bought this eyeliner recently when I was looking for a brown gel liner. Its not gel more like a cream but its just the best eyeliner I have ever had. Small brush, two ends. One for line and the other one is like an eraser. Seriously when you make a mistake or you want your line to be just different or both eyes even its the best to correct any mistakes so best liner for the beginners as well. I use eye primer at all time,so cannot say if it last very long cause its lasted for me. I bought a brown one but I'm thinking about getting black version as well. Eyeliner brush end is easy to use,I found it much easier to make a line. I cannot find any defects so far.
